New radiologist are welcomed by Brookings Health System to its imaging team !

A radiologist, Dr. Phillip Benzmiller, is the newest addition to the medical team at Brookings Health System
It was announced last week by Roger Oberg, health system CEO. Benzmiller specializes in diagnostic radiology and will be joining the health system's imaging team.He comes to Brookings from a residency in diagnostic radiology at University of Michigan Hospitals, Ann Arbor. He also completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Ann Arbor. Benzmiller received a bachelor of science degree from Creighton University, Omaha, Neb., and his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. Benzmiller is board-certified in diagnostic radiology with added qualification in vascular and interventional radiology by the American Board of Radiology. "We continue to meet the needs of our community by providing quality physician groups to care for our patients," said Oberg.
Imaging services at Brookings Health System offers the Brookings community advanced technology, Oberg noted, including a full range of procedures including onsite MRI, CT scan, bone densitometry (using as an advanced, DXA technology), ultrasound and nuclear medicine. The imaging team is staffed with fully qualified radiologists, ultrasonographers and radiology technologists.
Brookings Health System includes a 49-bed hospital, the 79-bed Brookview Manor nursing home and the Brookhaven Estates apartments. It is a non-profit , cityowned facility that offers the community a full range of inpatient, outpatient, and extended care services.
