Unveiling of the PowerServer RIS/PACS at SIIM 2008

Medical Conferences News - SIIM 2008
SIIM 2008 - At SIIM 2008, RamSoft will be unveiling it's much-anticpated PowerServer RIS/PACS for greater integration between the information systems.

RamSoft Inc. will be unveiling its much-anticipated PowerServer RIS/PACS at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine 2008 conference in Seattle, Washington (SIIM Booth 333).  The solution will introduce a new level of healthcare IT integration between a facility's RIS and PACS information systems.

"For some time, we have been providing PACS with the most tightly integrated reporting solution with Microsoft Word and Dragon," says Vijay Ramathan, president and CEO, RamSoft, Inc. "Now, the RIS is totally built into the PACS with no HL7 interfacing required and does not interrupt or affect storage size.  It's no surprise that for smaller facilities, only one RIS/PACS server is necessary."

The PowerServer RIS/PACS adheres to RamSoft's innovative design philosophy, which means that the RIS/PACS is 100 per cent web-based, promotes efficient clinical workflow, and has a complete upgrade path from existing PowerServer PACS solutions.

Also being introduced at SIIM 2008 is the brand new physician portal, available with RamSoft's PowerServer PACS, RIS/PACS, and teleradiology solutions. With the new portal, physicians can now view images and reports without having to download any additional software.
