SIIM 2009 will showcase products from leading PACS vendors on June 4-7 at Charlotte SIIM 2009 will showcase products from leading PACS vendors - Agfa Healthcare, AMICAS, Carestream Health, DR Systems, GE Healthcare, McKesson Provider Technologies and Siemens Healthcare, companies which are anchoring the exhibition.

SIIM's recent membership survey highlighted the fact that members and meeting attendees highly value the education program and exhibits at the SIIM Annual Meeting. According to SIIM officials, to date, preliminary registration numbers for SIIM 2009 are holding steady compared to the average of the past 3 years' attendance (2006-2008).

The SIIM organizers want to emphasize that the meeting environment is also one that is conducive to smaller companies that are start-ups or those offering new or expanded products and services.

The SIIM 2009 program has been re-structured to spotlight core focus areas in 9 Learning Tracks and the essentials for implementing cost-effective solutions for attendees to take back and share with colleagues at their institutions. Companies will also be offering their expertise and solutions in the exhibit hall to assist customers and potential customers to best manage the current economic environment.
