SIIM ( Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine ) announces an innovative addition to the educational sessions at the SIIM 2010 Annual Meeting, to be held on June 3-6, 2010.

The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine ( SIIM ) announces an innovative addition to the educational sessions at the upcoming SIIM 10 Annual Meeting, June 3-6 in Minneapolis - "vendor tie-in" sessions sharing corporate vision in context with the educational material. By coupling the educational content with shared vendor experiences on the subject matter, SIIM attendees will be exposed to the practical aspects of implementing new technologies, and gain a greater common understanding of alternatives and available opportunities. Four of the eight learning tracks at SIIM10 will feature vendor-tie ins selected by the program committee of SIIM .

Each learning track provides session attendees with a chance to share their thoughts and expectations about the technologies that apply to their daily workflow and further explore solutions to their day-to-day challenges. Vendor tie-in discussions for specific sessions will allow all participants to contribute to the discussion, sharing their vision of innovations in medical imaging informatics .

The SIIM 2010 Learning Tracks that feature vendor tie-in sessions, and a list of participating vendors include:
