SIIM 2010 (Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine), the leading international society in imaging informatics, will host its Annual Meeting in Minneapolis Minnesota, June 3-6, 2010.

SIIM 2010 Call for Abstracts:

The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine, the leading international society in imaging informatics, will host its SIIM 2010 Annual Meeting in Minneapolis Minnesota, June 3-6, 2010. At the SIIM 2009 Annual Meeting attendees experienced a rejuvenated Scientific Program, not only in the quality of research being presented, but through innovative peer-oriented sessions. Scientific presenters had the opportunity to provide immediate feedback to attendees’ questions and comments through pioneering conference texting techniques. Presenters in the highly-rated scientific posters & demonstrations session had the opportunity to convey their research one-on-one with peers and experts alike through roving tours during the Posters and Demonstrations session. These combined activities made SIIM’s 2009’s Scientific Sessions some of the best attended sessions at the SIIM 2010 Annual Meeting.

Abstract Submission Template:

SIIM 2010 Call for Abstracts Authors wishing to present at the conference need to submit a hypothesis-driven or descriptive abstract via the SIIM website at http://www.siimweb.org/siim2010/. Preferred formats for scientific presentations include paper, poster, or demonstration.

Abstracts Eligible for Awards:

Abstracts submitted are eligible for best student paper, poster, and demonstration awards and cash prizes. The 2010 New Investigator Travel Awards are open to individuals with an area of study and interest in imaging informatics, who are in a full-time training program or who have recently completed training.

All authors of accepted abstracts are strongly encouraged to submit a full paper prior to the meeting to be considered for publication in the Journal of Digital Imaging.

Preparing Images:

To learn how to produce journal quality figures and images, the deadline for abstract submission is September 11, 2009, with notification of acceptance by October 31, 2009.
