2010 Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine annual meeting ( SIIM 2010 ) will take place from June 4 - 8, 2010 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Minneapolis Convention Center.

Highlights:

Thursday, June 3:

There will be three new Learning Tracks: 1) Business Analytics, 2) New Tools in Data Management, 3) Practical Imaging Informatics (incorporating new SIIM textbook content), and the Wine & Cheese Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall.

Friday, June 4:

2nd Annual Dwyer Lecture: “The Role of Imaging Informatics in the Next Generation of EMR / EHR,” the SIIM Membership Meeting, and the Open Source Plugfest and other events in the Shared Learning Community.

Saturday, June 4:

Closing General Session: “Value Innovation through Imaging Informatics Panel Discussion,” and the popular SIIM Networking Receptions.

Sunday, June 6:

“Tools of the Trade” learning labs—everything from Data Mining in Excel to DICOM Troubleshooting.
