21st Century Oncology Selects Sage Intergy to Streamline Enterprise Billing Across Its Network of Radiology Centers

Company News - Sage Healthcare

Radiation Therapy Services, Inc. d/b/a 21st Century Oncology selected Sage Intergy.

Sage Healthcare Division, a unit of Sage North America, which provides practice management software and services to approximately 80,000 physicians throughout the United States, announced that Radiation Therapy Services, Inc. d/b/a 21st Century Oncology, a leading developer and operator of radiation therapy centers, based in Ft. Myers, Fla., with more than 90 radiation therapy centers in 16 states, has selected Sage Intergy.

Sage Intergy is an integrated, comprehensive practice management system providing a single database with cross-functionality, consolidated reporting and efficient system maintenance. Intergy data is patient-centric and can be shared or isolated across practices and locations, allowing access from anywhere for clinical, financial and administrative management.

Sage Intergy easily tracks the details of a patient's clinical history, shares and manages clinical information and combines complex medical practice functions into easy-to-navigate menus and buttons. Sage Intergy provides features that centralize financial operations including billing, reporting, task management, and fully integrates with EDI services and Practice Analytics.

21st Century Oncology chose Sage Intergy, in large part, because of the system's billing capabilities. "The capability of the Sage Intergy system to handle complex billing scenarios across a multi-facility enterprise system set it apart from the competition in the space," said 21st Century Oncology Chief Information Officer Tim Staley.

"With Sage Intergy, we have the opportunity to perform enterprise billing within a multi-located, national organization, and that was a major factor in our decision," Staley added. " Sage Intergy offers a very efficient billing process. A major benefit of Intergy is the ability to bill and post payments across multiple practices."

21st Century Oncology's business structure required a stout practice management program to manage the company's multiple facilities that provide a full spectrum of radiation therapy services to cancer and other patients.

21st Century Oncology also uses the Sage MAS 500 business management software and Sage Abra payroll and HR software.

Sage has been providing ambulatory healthcare systems for nearly 30 years, providing practice management solutions, electronic health records and other services to streamline patient care, as well as is a leading supplier of business management software and services, serving more than 6.2 million small and midsized business customers worldwide.
