Sage Healthcare Division announced a meaningful use guarantee for Sage's EHR Product Suite, providing physicians with the assurance they need to confidently deploy EHR for improved patient care and qualify for government incentives.

The Sage meaningful use guarantee assures physicians that Sage's electronic health records ( EHR ) Product Suite will meet the certification criteria for Meaningful Use set by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information ("ONC"), that Sage will modify that offering as necessary to maintain compliance, and if not, will provide a credit of up to 12 months of software support. The Sage EHR Product Suite includes Sage Intergy EHR, Sage Intergy Practice Analytics Quality Measures Edition and Sage Intergy Practice Portal.

In their Vendor Assessment Industry Short list of Electronic Health and Medical Records (Documents HI220502 and HI220600), IDC Health Insights independently evaluated vendors' products and financial viability, measuring how well their offerings fit market needs and how likely they were to provide a positive ownership experience. Sage Intergy EHR received high scores in both areas, with notable scores for functionality for meaningful use, reporting and decision-support functionality, integration with practice management, breadth of service and support, and customer satisfaction, among others.
