Sentinelle Medical Inc. Introduces Aegis Web Powered By Calgary Scientific's PureWeb Technology

Sentinelle Medical , a leading manufacturer of Magnetic Resonance Imaging coils and software and Calgary Scientific Inc., have introduced a web version of Aegis Breast 4D Advanced Visualization software.

This innovative interface is the first truly zero-footprint Web client based medical imaging offering in the market. Calgary Scientific's PureWeb platform allows for zero-footprint access - requiring no software download, and runs on any Macintosh, Windows or Linux computer. Patient data is not downloaded, reducing patient data confidentiality concerns.

Radiologists are now able to leverage the power of Aegis from any web-enabled computer on the hospital's intranet, optimizing clinical workflow. With this fully functional technology, the extensive features of Aegis's powerful 4D imaging platform are now available over the internet.

The centralized deployment and administration permits easier access for multi-site organizations and helps in communicating reports with referring physicians.
