Expert tuition and hands on demonstrations on the ACUSON S2000
Siemens Healthcare 's Ultrasound team recently held a two-day Regional Education Seminar (RES) at the Dunblane Hydro Hotel for Scottish based customers of its ACUSON S2000T diagnostic ultrasound system.
The annual training course was attended by 33 delegates over the two days including radiologists, sonographers, midwives, obstetricians and vascular technologists. It was designed to extend the knowledge of S2000 customers so that departments can benefit from all the functions of the system. A particular focus of the sessions was on 2D and Doppler imaging.
The S2000 is optimised for high-frequency imaging and delivers 2D, Colour and Pulse-wave Doppler images of superb quality to provide high levels of diagnostic confidence for the best possible outcomes. Siemens representatives delivered numerous presentations and delegates had the opportunity to learn and share best practice with hands-on demonstrations and question and answer sessions.
"The seminar was a great opportunity for delegates to witness first hand the extensive imaging capabilities of the S2000," said Catherine Brady, Ultrasound Applications Specialist at Siemens Healthcare. "Attendance levels were high and we are always delighted to be able to offer support to our customers' clinical and training needs."
Siemens' Regional Education Seminars are held around the UK and are free of charge to ACUSON S2000 customers. For further information on 2011 courses, please email
