Siemens Healthcare introduced ACUSON X300TM PE, an ultrasound system for heart disorders

Siemens Healthcare recently introduced ACUSON X300™ PE ultrasound system, a premium edition (PE), to address the extensive needs of today's cardiology demands.

Siemens Healthcare recently introduced ACUSON X300TM PE, the most compact and efficient ultrasound system that provides uncompromised performance. One of the biggest patient benefits offered by this system is early and accurate diagnosis in lesser time. This all-digital system has been engineered to provide the physician with excellent clinical performance for confident diagnosis, especially to cater to the extensive needs of cardiology. ACUSON X300™ PE non-invasively allows a foresight of the patient’s condition, thus better assessment and pre-planning of the treatment becomes easier for the physician. 

The state-of-the-art ergonomics of ACUSON X300™ PE provides a new standard in the world of ultrasound systems. It is a highly mobile system that has a lightweight compact footprint allowing easy movement and storage. ACUSON X300™ PE’s utility in cardiac cases thus becomes very high in operating rooms, with emergency medicine and whenever portable examinations are required.

For detailed cardiac analysis, ACUSON X300™ PE incorporates many hi-end features like the suite of advanced transducer technologies that enable improved image uniformity while scanning technically difficult-to-image patients like children, obese, etc. Excellent image quality, with penetration as deep as 30 cm, is also achieved without excessive transducer pressure. It also comes with a unique software solution called the US syngo Workplace, which allows easy-to-use, enhanced workflow for a physician. The different modules of syngo further allow the physician to work and analyze the scanned images on his personal computer, no matter whether the ultrasound system is available.

ACUSON X300™ PE also stands out because of its latest ergonomic innovation. The operator-friendly console is centered around a home-base design to reduce arm and hand movement, while the height adjustable control panel, flat panel display and articulating arm allow for comfort in a variety of scanning situations.
