TeamHealth Teleradiology announced it has signed two contracts to provide teleradiology services for two groups in South Carolina and Illinois.

TeamHealth Teleradiology, a division of the nation's largest provider of hospital-based clinical outsourcing, announced it has signed two contracts to provide teleradiology services for two groups in South Carolina and Illinois.

An agreement signed with UpState Carolina Radiology located in Spartanburg, S.C., will allow TeamHealth Teleradiology to provide services for the following four hospitals:

• Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, S.C.;
• St. Francis Downtown, Greenville, S.C.;
• St. Francis Eastside, Greenville, S.C.; and
• Upstate Carolina Medical Center, Gaffney, S.C.
  

TeamHealth will also provide teleradiology services to Lakeland Radiologists, Ltd., which has multiple locations throughout East Central Illinois.

"We are very excited about these new contracts slated to begin in the first of 2010. We look forward to broadening our relationship with both radiology groups and providing the high level of quality service they afford their patients and facilities," said Alan Taylor, senior vice president, TeamHealth Teleradiology. "Additionally, we are pleased to announce we now offer day time and night time final interpretations as well as subspecialty capabilities."
