Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. announced that Scott Goodwin has been named vice president, Sales.

In this role, Goodwin will oversee CT, MR, X-ray / vascular and ultrasound sales field operations, sales and customer training and applications.

“Scott has an excellent record in the diagnostic imaging market and brings strong experience to Toshiba,” said Don Fowler, general manager and senior vice president, Toshiba. “With his multi-modality, multi-channel sales distribution background and record of sales achievement, I am confident he is an executive who can provide the sales leadership and drive required to help Toshiba achieve its business goals.”

Goodwin joins Toshiba after two years with Philips Healthcare as general manager, Nuclear Medicine Business. Prior to that, he worked for Siemens Medical Solutions as general manager, Western Zone Sales, where he grew market share in that zone by 8 percent. During his nearly 20 years at Siemens, Goodwin held the positions of vice president, CT Business Management; national sales director, PET / CT systems; as well as several other sales related positions.
