Ultrasonix Medical Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging systems announced that it is officially releasing its new SonixDAQ product.

This is a revolutionary new add-on to the Ultrasonix 's SonixTOUCH Research system that allows ultrasound researchers to obtain raw pre-beamformed, parallel channel RF data in a laboratory or clinical environment. 

Ultrasonix 's SonixDAQ is equipped with 16GB of memory for channel storage, 80MHz sampling rates, and 128 simultaneous channel collection. It interfaces seamlessly to the SonixTOUCH Research through a USB2.0 connection, and has a programmable FPGA so users can write and embed their own high-speed signal processing algorithms.
