PreView Imaging Centers of Cookeville, Tennessee is offering 3D-4D prenatal ultrasound scans at no cost to any expectant mother whose unborn child has a known fetal abnormality.
Cookeville-based PreView Imaging Centers is now offering free prenatal ultrasound scans to any expectant mother whose unborn child has a known fetal abnormality. Owner Lori Parton is firmly pro-life and says this is her way of helping parents bond with their unborn child rather than considering an abortion.
"I truly believe that life begins at conception" says Parton, "My line of work reinforces that belief every day, and I want to share that experience with others, especially parents who may be weighing the option of terminating a pregnancy - I just want to give them the opportunity to see their baby before they make any rash decisions".
Parton says there are no hidden agendas. Parents who are aware of a fetal abnormality from a previous ultrasound or genetic testing are free to make an appointment on a space available basis, and there is no charge. "This is not a marketing gimmick, there are no lectures, no strings attached, no talk about my or your beliefs, says Parton, "This is all about you and your baby - I just want to make the introduction and let you see the miracle inside you!"
Parton is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Abdomen, Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Cardiac and Vascular ultrasound. After 22 years of experience, she finally followed her dream and opened PreView Imaging Centers in Cookeville in January 2009.
PreView Imaging Centers is located at 25 West Broad Street in Cookeville, and offers 3D and 4D elective prenatal ultrasound in a relaxed gallery setting - complete with piano, sofa, and flat screen television. Parton also offers diagnostic ultrasound imaging on a cash basis for patients who are uninsured or want to avoid the long drive to Nashville or Knoxville.
