Unilabs has announced today that it has acquired EuradConsult BVBA, a leading provider of teleradiology services, to develop teleradiology services on a pan-European basis.  The combination of Unilabs’ experience in producing radiology examinations and EuradConsult’s experience in teleradiology services will create a strong and attractive high-quality provider with an excellent position in central Europe.

“Teleradiology creates the possibility to increase availability of high quality radiology reporting services, reduce healthcare costs and use limited radiological resources in an efficient way. Through the acquisition of EuradConsult, which has extensive experience in teleradiology, Unilabs will have the ability and knowledge to perform teleradiology services on a pan-European basis,” said Orwar Gustafsson, Director of New Markets for Unilabs.

The company has an excellent reputation in the field for quality and is ISO-certified. Eurad has a well-established technical platform and its central European location makes it easily accessible and very attractive for European radiologists to work.
