Varian Medical Systems schedules investor event on Tuesday, November 2 at the annual meeting of the ASTRO in San Diego, November 2, 2010
Varian Medical Systems will hold an investor event on Tuesday, November 2 at the annual meeting of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology ( ASTRO ) in San Diego. Investors and members of the financial community are invited to join senior management for a review of fiscal year 2010 and a tour of the company's exhibition at ASTRO.
Varian will host a meeting with management, beginning with breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and presentations at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina, 333 W. Harbor Drive, Santa Rosa Room – South Tower, Level 1, San Diego. The presentations will be followed by a tour of Varian's ASTRO booth at the San Diego Convention Center, Booth #201 – from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Management presentations will focus on new technologies and products and growth initiatives within the company's Oncology Systems, X-Ray Products, and emerging businesses. Management will include: Varian Medical Systems' CEO and President Tim Guertin; Executive Vice President and Oncology Systems President Dow Wilson; Senior Vice President and CFO Elisha Finney; Senior Vice President and President X-Ray Products Robert Kluge, Vice President Emerging Businesses Lester Boeh; and Investor Relations Vice President Spencer Sias.
