VentriPoint Diagnostics and Hospital for Sick Children signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the installation of the first commercial VentriPoint Medical System .

VentriPoint Diagnostics Ltd., and Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the installation of the first commercial VentriPoint Medical System (VMS) into the Echocardiography lab at the Labatt Family Heart Centre for use in monitoring children with congenital heart disease.

The VentriPoint Medical System (VMS) generates critical heart measurements with significantly greater speed and accuracy and at a considerably lesser cost than is currently possible. The VMS generates those measurements from the two-dimensional ultrasound systems that are used widely in hospitals and clinics throughout the world. Health Canada and Europe have granted license approval for this breakthrough diagnostic tool, and VentriPoint anticipates responding to the U.S. Federal Drug Administration's 510(k) review requests for additional information before the end of January.
