Foundation Radiology Group and Vital Images' Partnership Brings Advanced Visualization to Small Medical Communities Nationwide

Company News - Vital Images

Foundation Radiology Group and Vital Images partnered to bring Vital Images' advanced visualization software to FRG's customer base

Foundation Radiology Group (FRG), a provider of diagnostic imaging professional services and Vital Images (NASDAQ: VTAL), a provider of advanced visualization and analysis software, have partnered to bring Vital Images' advanced visualization software to FRG's customer base. FRG will utilize Vital Images' full suite of software exclusively with its customer base of over 20 non-university affiliated, suburban and rural healthcare institutions.

FRG is a diagnostic imaging professional services company offering a hybrid model of both on-site radiology and teleradiology solutions for hospitals and other institutions. The company provides subspecialty radiological services to smaller hospitals and outpatient centers that cannot afford to keep subspecialists on staff.

"It enables us to deliver state-of-the-art technologies to small community hospitals and their patients, who would otherwise not have access to these types of care options." , said Brandon W. Chan, chairman and chief executive officer at FRG. "FRG's business model is innovative and serves clinical environments that traditionally have not had access to advanced visualization tools," said Michael H. Carrel, president and chief executive officer at Vital Images. "Our partnership supports our strategy to enhance patient care by providing broad access to Vital Images' advanced visualization technology."
