Viztek installs pal-ORTHO and DR Installation at North Shore Orthopedic Surgery

Viztek announced the installation of its Opal-ORTHO PACS software and U-Arm DR digital radiography (DR) technology at North Shore Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, PC in Smithtown, NY.

“With a volume of about 70 x-ray images daily, maintaining a darkroom setup was really hampering our overall workflow and efficiency,” said Jean Stumpf, office manager for the orthopedic practice.  “We have no in-house IT staff to install and manage a digital system. Viztek handled it all. Installation was smooth, and we were up and running quickly. Even staff who had never used this type of technology before found the technology easy to use," added Stumpf.
