Viztek announces comprehensive training for its Opal-RAD line of PACS, RIS solutions and for Viztek-distributed Kodak Point of Care (POC) Computed Radiography (CR) units Viztek the turnkey digital imaging hardware and software company, announces a complete user training series for its Opal-RAD line of PACS and RIS solutions as well as for Viztek-distributed Kodak Point of Care (POC) Computed Radiography (CR) units.  The training sessions, held in Jacksonville FL, instruct users on all aspects of the software and hardware, including technical, administrative and radiology-related features.
The hands-on POC CR training provides an in-depth education on CR hardware operation as well as on Viztek’s proprietary Acquire software distributed with the device. The Viztek training offers help with CR troubleshooting, in addition to instructions on all features and functions of the Acquire software.
The Opal-RAD software training includes a comprehensive tutorial on all PACS features to maximize the benefits of the advanced web-based application. The goal of the course is to provide a thorough working knowledge of Opal-RAD PACS and its sophisticated tool-sets to help facilities ensure the best imaging results and most efficient workflow.  Additionally, the training covers all aspects of software administrator rights.
The training sessions are valuable to new customers, new users at existing facilities and Viztek dealers.  In-depth knowledge of the POC CR and Opal-RAD PACS and RIS may enhance system performance and reduce the need for customer support, while boosting efficiency and productivity.  A series of courses will be offered throughout the year to accommodate a range of attendees.
