Company Acquires 100,000 Square Foot Building from New Boston Fund to Manage Future Growth

eClinicalWorks , a market leader in ambulatory clinical systems, announced the expansion of its headquarters in Westborough, Mass. The new location at 2 Technology Drive will provide additional space allowing the company to further expand and serve customers due to the recent success and growth eClinicalWorks has experienced.

"eClinicalWorks has experienced phenomenal growth in recent years and has expanded in order to maintain its high standard of excellence for both the product and company," said Girish Kumar Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. "Expanding our headquarters will allow eClinicalWorks to sustain the quality service the company is known to provide. With 1,100 employees and the largest Software as a Service ( SaaS ) network in the industry, the building will permit immediate and future growth."

The last few years have shown significant growth for eClinicalWorks and has further solidified the company’s position as a market leader. eClinicalWorks has an established customer base of more than 40,000 providers and 120,000 plus medical professionals across all 50 states. Adding to the company’s list of awards, it ranked 45 in the 2010 Healthcare Informatics 100 list of largest companies by healthcare IT revenue. 2009 was also a record-breaking year as revenues broke $100 million for the first time in company history. The new headquarters facility will accommodate the company’s need for additional space and continue to allow eClinicalWorks to hire additional talent.

The expanded 100,000 square foot headquarters is located at 2 Technology Drive, Westborough, Mass., and will be completed during Q1 2011. eClinicalWorks has additional offices in New York City, Alpharetta, Ga., and Pleasanton, Calif.

The company’s real estate team was: Managing Directors Phil DeSimone and Scott Jamieson, and Associate Matthew Giffune of Jones Lang LaSalle; and Patrick Bodden of eClinicalWorks.
