Stemp Systems Certified as eClinicalWorks Provider

Stemp Systems Group is Among First IT Providers Awarded eClinicalWorks Preferred IT Vendor Status; Recognizes Commitment and Excellence in Serving Medical Community

For medical practices and community health centers, healthcare information technology is critical to office operations and patient care. These practices require medical office systems that are available around the clock, securely and remotely accessible for doctors working from home, hospital or on the road. To better serve its healthcare IT clients, Stemp Systems Group, Inc , a leading provider of technology and electronic medical records ( EMR ) implementation and project management services for the medical community, has taken the necessary steps to earn Preferred IT Vendor status from eClinicalWorks ( eCW ). Stemp Systems Group’s selection by eCW as a member of the Preferred IT Vendor Program recognizes the company’s systems expertise, technical support and knowledge of eCW’s infrastructure requirements, three elements considered by eCW to be critical to achieving a successful implementation for the medical community they serve. More information about Stemp Systems Group is available at http://www.stempsystems.com.

Stemp Systems Group is one of the first companies inducted into the eClinicalWorks Preferred IT Vendor Program, after working with eCW for the past five years on a number of large implementation projects for medical practices and community health centers in the New York Tri-State area.

“This award by eClinicalWorks recognizes our ongoing commitment to provide the highest level of technical knowledge and support to our healthcare clients,” said Morris Stemp, president of Stemp Systems Group. “Over 5 years ago, I identified eCW as one of the leading EMR developers. I met with their senior management and support executives to discuss our core values, commitment to excellence, and focus on customer service, which I felt were the key elements we could contribute to ensure the success of our eCW implementations. I am honored that Stemp Systems Group has now been recognized for its performance and contributions to the successful rollout of eCW

Stemp Systems Group has completed many eCW implementations providing services and as an advocate on behalf of the medical practice, including:

Technology assessments
Server and infrastructure upgrades
Server virtualization and storage area network (SAN) implementation
Wireless systems implementation
Pro-active systems monitoring and 24x7 help desk support
Terminal services and remote EMR access
Full EMR implementation project management

According to eCW program manager Liz Wallace, “Our customers are looking for IT companies they can count on to aid them with their eClinicalWorks implementations and ongoing IT support needs or requirements. We are looking for IT companies who understand how to work with us from implementation through go live and then on to support.”

In order to obtain the Preferred Vendor IT status, Stemp Systems Group completed an extensive training program at eClinicalWorks headquarters in Westborough, MA. To maintain its preferred status, the company must continue to implement, support, and mange new or ongoing eCW implementations each year while maintaining an average rating of four-out-of-five on eCW’s annual customer service surveys.

Stemp Systems Group is also on the New York City Primary Care Information Project (PCIP) list of preferred vendors to assist medical practices in NYC with the implementation of eCW under eCW’s contract with the NYC Department of Health.
