My hospital is a GPO member. Does this matter?

Most clients are members of at least one GPO. While GPOs may offer value in regard to supplies and consumables purchases, their pricing for capital equipment is only a starting point. In fact, we improve upon GPO contract pricing dramatically, including group buys. We do not affect GPO-contracted equipment purchases. We simply lower the pricing of them.

Am I under any obligation to go with the lowest bidder from the eRFP reports?

No, we leave complete authority and control of vendor selection and award decisions with you. Our clients sometimes choose a vendor other than the lowest bidder for a variety of reasons. We only calculate savings based on the equipment pricing you utilize.

What other pricing options do you offer?


We offer our service on a one time fee per service used.  For clients that want to use our services frequently we have 2 other programs that are more suitable; PERFORMER and PERFORMER ELITE.

What is the difference between Performer and Performer Elite?

Performer is completely contingency, or performance-based, with our fees being 30% of hard dollar savings achieved. Performer requires that all capital purchases be forwarded for processing, though members are under no obligation to award the business to anyone but whom they prefer. Performer Elite has one low fixed annual fee which is guaranteed to be offset by savings or any shortfall is refunded. Elite also offers price benchmarking and a variety of other services.

How much savings will we achieve?

For smaller facilities, we will reduce costs by tens of thousands of dollars annually. For larger facilities, savings in the hundreds of thousands and more can be expected over time. The health systems and IDNs we have served experience millions in capital equipment savings annually. On average, you can expect 18% identified savings.

Will this program replace any staff at my facility?

No, our services are a resource not a replacement for your personnel. Because we process thousands of capital equipment purchase and service proposals, we have price data at our disposal. We are not better negotiators than you or your staff – we simply know all options and the best prices for over 200 categories of capital equipment.
