iPatientCare - Medical Communication Systems, Inc. (MCS) announced that it has been selected by numerous Regional Extension Centers (REC), hospitals/health systems and academies as a Meaningful Use partner and preferred vendor of a unified Electronic Health Records (EHR) - Practice Management System (PMS) solution.
The unified EHR-PMS solution from iPatientCare features its award-winning, easy-to-use, Microsoft .net and Web browser-based CCHIT 2011 and ONC 2011/2012 Certified EHR. The EHR is available for integration with the iPatientCare PMS or through an interface with a third party PMS.
The following RECs and hospitals have recognized iPatientCare as either a preferred vendor or MU partner:
- New York eHealth Collaborative
- Massachusetts eHealth Institute
- Quality Insights of Delaware
- eHealth Connecticut
- Maryland Healthcare Commission
- Ponce School of Medicine, Puerto Rico
- E-Health Network of Long Island
- Winthrop University Hospital, Long Island, NY
"Regional Extension Centers occupy a very important position in helping physicians achieve Meaningful Use of Certified EHR technologies," explained Udayan Mandavia, President and CEO of iPatientCare. "We believe that our excellent track record of iPatientCare EHR users achieving MU Stage 1, attesting for it and receiving Federal stimulus from CMS can largely be attributed to the RECs with whom we have been working as their preferred/MU partner."
