Zorg & ICT: iSOFT Shows Medical Interoperability

Company News - iSOFT

iSOFT will demonstrate the interoperability of its healthcare IT solutions at the Zorg & ICT Fair

iSOFT will demonstrate the interoperability of its healthcare IT solutions at this year’s Zorg & ICT Fair (30 March – 1 April) in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and for the first time will show its range of enterprise-wide, multi-resource scheduling software.

On show will be iSOFT ’s strategic healthcare solution Lorenzo, the Lorenzo EPD (electronic patient document) viewer, iSOFT Collaboration, and ISOFT ’s hospital information system. iSOFT will demonstrate how GPs can access hospital patient records using Lorenzo EPD, and how iSOFT Collaboration is used to share x-rays and diagnostic images and reports. Additionally, iSOFT will demonstrate compliancy with the international IHE platform.

The company is also showing several new solutions for patient logistics. Patients that are referred to a hospital by their GP are now be able to register themselves online, so able to take an active role in their treatment. The solution Patient Service Portal, which is made available by the hospital, also enables the patient to make appointments with specific inter-hospital departments or doctors.

iSOFT ’s enterprise-wide, multi-resource scheduling software solution enables healthcare organisations to schedule and manage appointments and resources to improve efficiencies within multiple operational provider facilities. The software can be used over the Internet and within provider organisations to enable patients and carers to book and schedule resources. The efficient use of appointments and facilities drives an improved patient experience and leads to greater operational efficiency and increased patient throughput.
