About Chrysalis Breast Displacement System
The initial product developed is the Chrysalis Breast Displacement System. This is designed to displace the breasts of women undergoing imaging studies. It is designed to be a solution to the problems of radiation exposure to the breasts during CT imaging and poor image quality caused by the presence of large breasts in the scan plane for both CT imaging and for Nuclear Cardiology. It does so by securing the breasts upwards out of the scan plane. Optional external lead shielding can be placed above the scan plane for additional dose reduction.
