Testimonials

"Really silent, good value and can have lots of storage. On mine has 5x2TB drives using the CDROM bay.
Perfectly able to saturate gigabit network using SMB 2.1, transfer are on 110-115MB/sec
My only problem was the power button that broke with 3 days of use, perhaps I just got unlucky with this so I'll need to replace the unit, but besides that the micro server is really good!".- mephisto_poa
"This initially looked like a near miss due to the lack of RAID 5 and support for only 4 hard drives. However with a little ingenuity, this is a great NAS box or branch office server.
Just add an HP SmartArray P410 for RAID 5 and a Lindy 5.25" backplane to fit an additional 4 x 2.5" drives into the DVD bay. Result is support for 8 drives and RAID 5 support.
OK, this config is not fully supported by HP (it's not listed in the quickspecs) but it works fine for me".- Ken
"I bought this server; less than 22w in idle, quiet and much faster than the Intel counterpart (atom).
Very good, and is possibile to use hotswap with a workaround!
 Good price!".- Khael
"Linux will be more suitable to install on this MicroServer. GNU/Linux has its lightweight server tools which could run easy. Installing Microsoft will be to much for this MicroServer maybe a fileserver but no more. For Small Business Companies is this MicroServer with Linux a good solution with less fees than with a Microsoft system. I hope this will be upgraded soon to newer AMD neo CPU. 1.4 is enough but there are better cpu from amd neo".- evian
