Health IT EMR - Electronic Medical Records MedicsDocAssistant EHR for Allergy

About MedicsDocAssistant EHR for Allergy

MedicsDocAssistant EHR for Allergy has been designed in consultation with leading allergists.

Some highlights are:

  • Allergy History: The patient's allergic history is recorded in detail, including allergy symptoms, causal factors, home environment, medical history, and family history.
  • Skin: Graphical representations of the body are provided to enable precise indications of affected areas. In addition, digital photographs and Webcam images can be immediately imported into the patient's record.
  • Pediatric and Adult Trays: Extensive listings of Pediatric / Adult inhalants are provided. During examination, the provider can select the Prick and Intradermal values for each entity from the respective drop-down list (range is from 0 to 4++).
  • Skin Tests: Results recording for a number of skin tests are provided, including PCN Skin Testing, Local Anesthetics Skin Testing, and Hymenoptera Venom Skin.
  • Rapid Desensitization: Rapid Desensitization test results may be recorded in great detail. Dilution can be selected from the drop-down list provided or a new dilution can be created. Reactions can be selected from a range of 1 to 5. The Site column provides an Interactive Site Selection feature, where the exact location of the test site on the body can be selected. Comments, if any, may be added to the same row for each test performed.
  • Immunotherapy: Immunotherapy is fully automated, easing the work of office staff. All allergens for a particular case are listed, as are the vial strengths. Noted for each vial are the date, dose, reaction and charge. A total of ten shots per vial can be recorded for a total of ten vial sets (including initial build up). An additional helpful feature is the ability to automatically print vial labels.
  • Superbill: The extended Superbill holds the complete set of ICD/CPT codes and the selected codes are automatically included in the encounter screen.
  • Consult Letter: To easily generate a consult letter, the provider simply selects the specific sections of the encounter that need to become part of the letter. The resulting letter can be printed or automatically sent by email or fax.
