MiniCAT is a compact, upright, volume computed tomography (VCT) imaging system designed for high-resolution, low-radiation imaging of the sinuses, skull base, and temporal bones. It is specifically designed for head and neck imaging tasks that are critically dependent on spatial resolution. The system offers high-quality CT scan to visualize small anatomic structures, critical to assessing morphology and pathological processes. It supplies volume CT data for preoperative planning assistance for head and neck surgery. The Compact MiniCAT CT scanner gives ENTs and Allergists the ability to provide point-of-care diagnosis with innovative CT technology. MiniCAT provides lower radiation dose than CT scans by a full-body CT scanner and also the patient can sit comfortably upright in an open, patient-friendly design.
