About Omniscan
OMNISCAN was launched in the U.S. in 1993 to provide contrast enhancement of the central nervous system (CNS) to detect lesions of the brain, spinal cord, and associated tissues. It uses MRI to visualize lesions with abnormal vascularity which may result in the detection of a malignancy, such as neoplasms, abscesses, subacute infarcts and malignant and nonmalignant tumors.
