Telemis specializes in the development of medical imaging software and more specifically PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) software. The Telemis product line aims to assist hospitals, clinics and private practices to manage digital medical imagery and to eliminate the need for X-ray film, thereby reducing costs and increasing the quality of the care provided.

Telemis created in 1999 as a start-up from advanced university research, Telemis counts three groups of shareholders: Sopartec/UCL holding, 31% (technology investment fund of the University of Louvain), Nivelinvest, 29 % (Belgian regional investment fund) and a group of private investors hold 40%. With a 50 strong group of collaborators, half each in France and Belgium, the Telemis Group is an international, high-added value and well capitalized high-tech company.
