"I ordered a 48 inch Versa Center with the 28 inch deluxe keyboard arm and tray. This makes a great gaming desk. It was very easy to assemble and is a very sturdy desk. I love the fact that I can adjust the shelves to any height that I wish. The keyboard tray is fantastic, you can adjust it to fit your exact needs. "First i find that 24 inches alone is not enough width to carry a Logitech G110 keyboard plus mouse. So I talked to them in requesting a size change to a more custom size which is 28 inches preferably. They then told me that Quote on quote "Hi Mike, We do offer the Keyboard in a 28" width. Did you still want to cancel your order, There is no additional charge." So i told them quote "That's fine 28 is good. Go ahead and proceed with the order I still want it all in black like i originally selected. " Then they emailed me back telling me that "Hi Mike, We do apologize, unfortunately we no longer carry the Keyboard Tray in a 28" the biggest size is a 24". We do apologize for the confusion, Please let us know if you would still like to proceed with the order." oh really? What i said "Well in that case i'd like to have one machined to a 28 or 29" width like previously sold. I require no more than a 28" width" what they said: "The only option we would be able to offer you in a 28" Tray is to purchase our Basic Keyboard Arm and Tray or Deluxe Keyboard Arm and Tray. We cannot make a Keyboard Drawer 28" as it would be a customized unit with a customization fee of an additional 300.00. We also do not make any customizations on quantities below 10." what i told them afterwords "You guys have a shop in which you produce and manufacture your own products. So clearly you can have the width of the keyboard tray to 28 inches in a press of a button on autocad."

What they told me as their last message on their email "Hi Mike, The only option we would be able to offer you in a 28" Tray is to purchase our Basic Keyboard Arm and Tray or Deluxe Keyboard Arm and Tray. We cannot make a Keyboard Drawer 28" as it would be a customized unit with a customization fee of an additional 300.00. We also do not make any customizations on quantities below 10." when i asked for an estimate on their website they told me exactly this "Hi Mike, Unfortunately, making such a customization would be expensive as one of our engineers would have to developed a new program for our equipment, set up the machines, and then test the product for quality assurance. With the requirements you mentioned, the price would be $250. Have you look at our keyboard arms and trays, we have a 28x10 tray in that style." Then when I called them, They kept putting me on hold without even letting me speak about the question i was going to ask, Afterwords i talked to a customer service rep, He told me that he would call me back for further details. Afterwords he called and told me that they would have to customize my order which would cost $500.00. For what? Adding a couple of extra inches on the keyboard width? So first it's 250.00 for a slightly wider tray, Now $300.00, and finally $500.00? Where is the sense in all of this bureaucracy? If this really where a good company, they would have agreed to charge me no more or slightly more in the small changes to this product but instead they choose to ward off customers by quoting ridiculous prices. Also many of their components aren't made in the U.S, They sell many products that are manufactured overseas. Not that I care but it still does not live up to their claims. End of the Story, DO NOT BUY any products from this company, they refuse to offer service and competitive prices." Teh - Jan 10, 2012
