Building on its profile as an industry-leading provider of Colon computer-aided detection (CAD) solutions, Medicsight now offers MedicRead Colon, a CAD-enabled 3D workstation designed specifically for CT colonography (CTC).
MedicRead Colon provides radiologists and other clinical users with a toolkit of 2D and 3D rendering viewports and intuitive data management functions in a dedicated workstation optimized for CTC workflows.

Hardware requirements:
MedicRead Colon must be run on a computer that meets the following minimum hardware requirements:
Pentium IV-class 2GHz processor.
2 GB RAM.
50 GB free hard drive space.
Display resolution 1280 x 1024 with 24-bit/high colour.
3 button mouse.
16x DVD-ROM drive.
Graphics card compatible with DirectX 9.0c.
Medicsight recommends that a graphics card with 256 MB RAM is used for optimal performance.
Software requirements and operating systems:
MedicRead Colon requires the following software programs and operating systems:
Windows XP service pack 2.
Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 5.5 or higher.
.NET Framework 2.0 (will be installed with MedicRead Colon).
