The ACR-compliant SIERRA plus is the lowest cost digitizer for remote primary diagnosis. The SIERRA plus is also the first film digitizer small enough to be easily wall-mounted, solving siting problems commonly found at hospitals and radiology offices. It features VIDAR's next-generation proprietary high definition CCD (HD-CCD) technology. Its unique ADC™ (automatic digitizer calibration) feature results in virtually no variation in image quality, and ensures excellent grayscale reproduction in every image.

MS Vista Users: eFilm Workstation™ 2.1.2 is currently undergoing testing for operation within the MS Vista operating system environment, and will be validated for use in Vista systems soon.
Required minimum hardware
Pentium II processor.
256 MB RAM.
4 GB free hard drive space (1 GB for installing eFilm Workstation™ and 3 GB for image storage).
8-bit video card (best performance is 24- or 32-bit).
Beyond minimum hardware requirements, increased RAM will result in the most substantial performance gains.
In order to prevent poor performance of the software, Merge Healthcare recommends that eFilm Workstation™ be run on a workstation that has at least the minimum required hardware and software.
