MIO™ – Medical Images Organiser
MIO™ is a software module that allows the storage of various colour images and information (including electrocardiographs) in one single repository. Acting as a DICOM gateway, MIO™ is Multi-PACS vendor integration tool (compatible with any PACS provider) and Multi-Modality. It is flexible and easy to implement.What is MIO?
MIO allows to reach the concept “Beyond PACS”, from the traditional Radiology PACS to the Global Images Repository (Multimodality PACS) allowing to include videos, images, ECG into de Medical Record, run telemedicine projects easily, better use of already existing infrastructure, consolidating medical information, saving money and providing easy access to clinicians to images information
With MIO, various images or video sequences are able to be captured from any device. DICOM and HL7 assist to write, edit, review, route and index these images before sending the selected images to any medical repository or data centre. These images are easily retrieved and observed by clinicians.
MIO allows the PACS storage not just of clinical images, but video sequences, ECG's and also reports.
MIO also incorporates a toolkit of Dicom Services (provider independent) to perform integration of non Dicom medical devices, even from radiology department, and some nice functionalities like been a Dicom printer which provides value and facilitates Dicom communication between medical devices."

MIO Desktop temporary license:
In order to get a MIO Desktop temporary license you should:
- Download the application by clicking above download button
- Install the application.
- You will get an activation code that you should copy (Crtl+C)
- Register here on vendor website.
- Log into the Customer Support website, and select "Clients / Get License"
- Select 'Get a new free license for 30 days'
- Paste (Ctrl+V) the activation code and get the new license
- Run MIO and paste the new license into the pop-up window.
MIO Desktop final license:
In case you have purchased MIO Desktop, you can get a final license for the application. In order to get it, please follow next steps:
- If you haven't done so, please follow steps 1-3 of temporary license instructions
- Log into the Customer Support website using your previously registered user (#####@#####.##), validated for final license purchasing, and select "Clients \ Get License"
- Select 'Get a final license'
- Paste (Crtl+V) the activation code and get the final license
- Run MIO, click on 'About \ Licenses' menu and paste the new License into the pop-up window
