Net Medical Xpress Solutions, Inc., (OTC QB: NMXS), a leader in the telemedicine market, announced the company has signed a letter of intent to acquire MedTel Solutions, a telemedicine staffing company based in Huntsville, AL. MedTel Solutions is a physician staffing agency that specializes in the staffing and recruitment of telemedicine physicians. Consideration for the acquisition will be announced upon completion of the final agreement, which is expected by June 30, 2013.

But until now, a program to accurately measure how much cumulative radiation patients receive over their lifetime while getting medical treatment has not been available.

Published in the June issue of the American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR), the study evaluated recall, biopsy, cancer detection and invasive cancer detection rates in a community-based breast imaging practice. The study was issued online in advance of print on May 23, 2013.
