Viztek, the turnkey digital imaging hardware and software solutions company, announces the installation of Viztek's newest U-arm DR system at Southeastern Integrated Medical, PL, a multi-specialty practice group in Gainsville, FL. The advanced DR system features an integrated flat panel detector delivering superior image quality in a flexible U-arm configuration that streamlines patient positioning and workflow.
"We are extremely pleased with the new DR solution. It provides quick and easy digital workflow for a wide variety of imaging applications. The system has cut staff requirements for supervising exams, while maintaining the same procedure volume," says Scott Melquist, Director of Diagnostic Services at Southeastern. The facility performs 60 to 85 x-ray procedures daily.
