Information about salary rates and terms for our posts with explanation of what happens and your rights.
UK nursing posts are permanent (unless otherwise stated). Salary scales are the same for nurses from India as UK nurses along with the same rights and employment terms.
Different levels of seniority/grades and specialisms earn different salaries. Salaries are not negotiated case by case but are applied using national agreements with some “weighting” applied for different geographies. For example, nurses in London earn higher wages based upon local standard of living costs.
Salaries are paid directly to nurses’ bank accounts with any applicable taxes deducted at source.
There can be opportunities for overtime payments for extra hours worked and there are standard allowances for annual holidays.
